The protection of your data is important to us. This statement informs you about which data is processed on hunde-wiesen.ch. The revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) is authoritative; for visitors from the EU, the principles of the GDPR additionally apply.

Server log files

When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically stores technical data in log files (including IP address, date and time, the page accessed, browser type). This data serves the secure operation of the site and is not merged with other data sources.

When you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address, the chosen language as well as the date and IP address of the registration. We use this information solely to send you our newsletter. Your address is neither passed on to third parties nor sold. You can unsubscribe at any time – a short email to datenschutz@hunde-wiesen.ch is sufficient.

Cookies & audience measurement

Cookies are set for the anonymised audience measurement with Google Analytics (see below). A further cookie is used only in the protected editorial area (/admin), so that logged-in editors stay signed in – this area is not relevant for normal visitors.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies and records how the website is used (e.g. pages accessed, approximate region, device type). The IP address is truncated by Google Analytics 4 and not stored in full (IP anonymisation). The analysis helps us to improve our offering. You can prevent the collection by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

Map (OpenStreetMap & CDN)

The interactive map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap as well as the Leaflet library from a content delivery network (cdnjs / Cloudflare). In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to these providers, which is technically necessary for the display. We do not transmit any further personal data in the process.
